Rules and Procedures
We enforce a strict 8-hour cancellation policy. If you reserve a spot in a class but do not cancel at least 8 hours before the class start time and fail to show up, you will lose one session from either your membership or your class package. Premier Plus members will be charged a late cancellation fee of DKK 75, as outlined in the membership registration form.
We enforce a strict policy for late arrivals. If you are more than 5 minutes late to your class, you will not be granted access, and you will lose a session from your membership or package or be charged for the session as described above.
To ensure fair and equal treatment for all members, each participant may only sign themselves and one other person up on the station assignment board, and only under the following conditions:
- The arrangement has been approved by the other person.
- The person is correctly booked for the same training time as the member.
This rule is enforced to ensure stations are assigned correctly and on a “first come, first served” basis, allowing all members a fair opportunity to use the facilities.
For the safety of all members and guests, it is not permitted to remain in the training area unless a coach is present.
If you are a member or have a class pack, you can add yourself or ask a sales assistant to add you to the waitlist. Being added to the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the class. If a space opens at least 8 hours before the class starts and you are on the waitlist, you will automatically be assigned the spot. If you fail to show up, you will lose one session from your membership or package or be charged as outlined above. Please contact your studio’s sales assistant for more information about the waitlist procedure.
When attending training, we expect you to be dressed for physical activity. This means indoor running shoes, athletic shorts/pants, a sports shirt/t-shirt/top, and a water bottle. Optionally, a sweat towel. A sports bra is considered appropriate as a sports top.
We reserve the right to deny entry if a member is inappropriately dressed, uses offensive language, or wears clothing with messages that may be offensive—e.g., vulgar, sexual, or racist content. If denied entry, you will lose a session from your membership or class pack or be charged for the session.
Children under 14 are not allowed in the studio at any time. Children aged 14–16 are only allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian who has signed documents allowing the child into the studio. Children aged 17–18 are allowed to be in the studio and train without a parent or guardian present, provided the necessary studio documents have been signed by a parent or guardian.
All rules and any changes made available or posted in the studio or on www.orangetheoryfitness.com are part of the membership terms, and you agree to comply. Non-compliance will result in termination of your membership.
You can freeze your membership for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 60 days. You can freeze your membership up to twice per year (max. 120 days per year). You cannot freeze your membership for more than 60 consecutive days.
During any freeze period, a monthly fee of DKK 75 will automatically be charged via your credit or debit card. This fee will be charged on the same date as your regular membership payment.
Unless otherwise notified, you may use your membership and package or purchase additional training at any Orangetheory® Fitness studio in Denmark.
Orangetheory® Fitness classes have limited space and can reach full capacity. Book in advance using the Orangetheory app or via orangetheory.com.
Orangetheory® Fitness is a heart rate-based interval training concept. We highly recommend purchasing an OTbeat heart rate monitor. If you borrow one from a studio and fail to return it, your registered credit card will be charged the current retail price. Please contact a sales assistant for more details on OTbeat sales and loans.
OTbeat heart rate monitors are covered by the mandatory 2-year warranty under Danish law. The warranty ensures the product functions as promised and can be repaired or exchanged if issues arise within the warranty period. It only covers product-related faults and not those caused by accidents or misuse, including physical damage, contact with liquids, or lack of maintenance.
